Traditional mixes are dry powder, usually manufactured that way because it is shipped overseas. So you have to measure, add milk, cook and add flavoring – all before freezing. But our bases are liquid, not powder. All you do is mix in your flavoring and freeze. They also have a 60-day shelf life. In fact, there’s only one thing powdered mixes have that we don’t: vegetable fat. And that’s one way we don’t mind coming up short.
